Sunday's message looked at Isaiah 58 & 59. I spent the last hour trying to figure out what I'd write to inspire people to pray. Couldn't think of anything but this poem I had written for Easter service a couple of years ago, the year Katrina hit.
For those who weren't there on Sunday, read Isaiah 58 & 59 before you read this poem. Otherwise, here's the context: We ought to live our Christian lives out for others.
(I've included other Biblical references that frame the theology behind the poem; there are many more but I had to stop because it messes with the font and typesetting of this post!)
