This week's prayer requests

Today, I'm late for work...running out the door...so I'll have to share some deeper reflections another time:

1. The formulation and shaping of the youth ministry. Please pray for Howie who is in charge.

2. The formulation and shaping of small group ministry. Please pray for Frank who is in charge.

3. The formulation and shaping of the community outreach ministry. There are several people involved, but pray for Irene who has developed a heart for the community in the last couple of years.

4. Pray for a number of people who are seeking employment. Our circumstances can really challenge our faith, it's very interesting--but pray for a time of enlightenment, renewal, growth, and knowledge of Christ.

5. Pray for the health and spirituality of families, regardless of what these units look like. For instance--keep singles like myself in prayer. Each walk of life can do something wonderful and powerful for God.

6. Pray for Thomas and Suzy, the pastor. In the midst of challenges and stresses, fill them with an unspeakable joy.

7. Lastly, pray for our governance--when we pray for our world leaders, it is not just about petitioning. Rather when we pray we are often called to action. The most important thing is LOVE.
